Let me just start off by saying that our last week of tour was stupendous! The IMPACT youth conference was a great way to end the summer. We were able to hear some great men of God such as, Bro. Kenny Baldwin, Bro. Greg Locke, Bro. Steve Roberson, Bro. Ralph Sexton, Jr., Bro. Clint Fredericks, and, of course, one that is near and dear to our hearts, our college chancellor, Bro. Eric Capaci. The Lord worked on the hearts of many young people and several trusted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and gave their lives to Him. – The week was also chocked-full of fun activities like enjoying a delicious meal at the Dixie Stampede, and riding some thrilling roller coasters at Dollywood, just to name a few! We had a great time visiting with friends that we have met through our travels and meeting tons of new ones! We were able to toss out some free t-shirts and backpacks and pass out brochures everyday, and it was a blast getting the crowd fired up! – As the end of the summer drew closer and closer, we took time to reflect upon and thank the Lord for the amazing experiences that He allowed us to have, and for the many memories we have made, as well as the lasting friendships that we have developed. Praise the Lord for His safety and protection as we traveled the country, and for working in our lives in ways that we never imagined!
It was a great crowd! About 2,500 people were in attendance!

Another incredible week! Getting to be in some awesome churches and visit with some of our friends from school has been so much fun! Last Sunday morning we were at Calvary Baptist Church in Seminary, Mississippi. This is the church that Kyle and Jenna Mackender, recent Champion graduates, are attending. We enjoyed spending time with them and getting to see the different areas of ministry that they are serving in. Sunday night’s church was near and dear to Dustin’s heart because it was his home church :-) Central Baptist in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, along with their pastor, Bro. Dean Miller, welcomed us to their evening service and, afterward, spoiled us with a buffet of home-made ice cream! Yum! Both of the services that day were amazing in their own special way and we were able to meet and greet with a lot of young people. Wednesday night, we were at Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Ball. This was a unique service because they allowed us to sing, and give testimonies the whole hour, and Wesley got to preach. It was a great way to finish off our last “traveling” week of tour. We can’t believe that it’s almost over! It’s gone by so fast! But we have seen God do some incredible things and can’t wait to see what He has in store for our last week, which will be spent at the IMPACT youth conference. We’ll try to keep you updated when we can. :-)

Deep In The Heart of Texas!
Oh yes! This past weekend was spent in the deep south! We had a wonderful time in that great ol' state of Texas! Before I begin, I must first send out an apology. My camera was acting a bit crazy and, therefore, I have no pictures from Sunday. :-( But, the good news is: It's all better now! Yaye! - Anyway, Sunday morning we were at the New Life Baptist Church in the little town of Converse. It was a great service in which Bro. Tony preached on a topic that was relevant for everyone; the necessity of forgiveness. After enjoying lunch and a time of fellowship, we traveled the short distance to Beeville Baptist Church in the town of, you guessed it, Beeville, TX. :) This was also an amazing service in which the Lord really made His presence known. All-in-all, it was a great Sunday in which the Lord gave us all exactly what we needed. And, to top it all off, we got to see Brittany Main, a recent Champion graduate. After church we were also able to enjoy a cook-out at Pastor Stowe's house and spend time getting to know some young people from the church. - Tonight we were at Victory Baptist Church in Milton, Florida with Pastor Tim Fullure. This church has an amazing ministry of printing Bibles! The Pastor gave us a tour of the facilities and it was neat to see the process by which thousands of Bibles are printed and sent to missionaries across the world. Please remember to keep this ministry in your prayers! - Well, once again, I apologize for not having any pictures, but I hope that this short update will suffice until I can upload some pics in a few days :-) Thanks for checking in!

4th of July Weekend
Whew! What a 4th of July weekend! Sunday morning was full of festivities at the Baptist Temple in Ft. Worth, Texas. After Sunday school and the morning service, we enjoyed a delicious dinner on the grounds. Immediately after lunch, the afternoon service kicked off with a mini concert by yours truly, the Champion Baptist Ensemble, and was followed by a short sermon by Pastor Ingleman. After the service was dismissed, we blazed a trail down the road to spend our evening service with Pastor Fisher and the Longvue Baptist Church. Every sermon that was preached that day reminded us of our great freedoms; not only our physical freedoms because of the great country we live in, but also our spiritual freedoms that God has blessed us with. It was definitely an awesome 4th of July that was finished off with a beautiful fireworks display! - Wednesday evening we were in Burnet, Texas at Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Wiggins. The sweet spirit of the people there allowed the Lord to work in the service and He spoke to many hearts. - Today we drove to San Antonio and spent some time touring the Alamo and walking along the Riverwalk. It has been beautiful despite the hot Texas weather :-) Here are a few pics for you to enjoy...

CAMP!!!!
Sorry that we haven't been able to update in a while! We spent this past week at a camp hosted by Tabernacle Baptist Church in Altus, Oklahoma. It was an incredible week and they treated us so well! We were able to go mountain climbing, horseback riding, play paintball, go to a carnival, judge a singing contest, and do a ton of other fun stuff! We met and spent time with a lot of young people. We were able to make so many new friends and were sad to have to leave on Friday morning. It was such a privilege to be able to work at the camp for a week, singing in the services, doing skits, leading singing, and helping out in any other areas necessary. - Bro. Ted Inman was the key speaker. He found all of his messages in the book of Judges and his key theme for the week was that God can use anyone, no matter how much or how little you may have, as long as you are willing. It definitely spoke to our hearts, as well as the hearts of many others! - After the last service on Thursday night, we spent over an hour talking to, and taking pictures with all of the campers as they came to tell us "goodbye." This week will always be remembered and we hope that, one day, we might be able to go back!
A few of us climbed to the top of 1 of the 4 mountains surrounding the camp
