Melony Gets Saved!

Hey Everybody!
Just wanted to give you a little update about what happened yesterday. While we were on our way to spend the day in Atlanta we stopped at a random gas station to buy a bag of ice for the cooler. The guys got out to fill up the cooler and Bro. Tony asked Lauren to give a tract to a lady who was sitting outside. While Lauren was witnessing to the lady, who's name was Melony Melcher, the police pulled up and asked what they were talking about and asked to see Lauren's ID. I guess the police thought that Lauren was trying to pull off a drug deal or something. But it all worked out because even though the devil was trying to mess things up, Melony got saved! Praise the Lord! Lauren talking to the police with Melony sitting in the background

People's Baptist Church & a Brave's Game

Hey Everybody!
Whew! These past few days have been pretty busy! Yesterday we had the privilege of going to see the CNN center and a Braves/Cubs game. It was a long, tough game but the Braves pulled through in the 12th inning....yes, 12. It was pretty much the longest game ever...well, at least it felt like it. Tonight we sang at People's Baptist Church in McDonough, GA. They have been blessed with beautiful facilities, and we enjoyed being there. Pastor McCoy preached a awesome message on miracles. He did a great job reminding us that God still works miracles today. But he also told us the importance of praising God whether we get the miracles we want or not. After the service was over, the pastor took us out to eat Mexican food! Yaye!...Mexican is a group fave. :)

Inside Turner Field!!!

This is a view from our original seats...we were eventually able to move down to the second level

Caleb is a Cubs fan & Lauren is a die-hard Braves fan. They said they were gonna stage a fight, but they never did...It probably wouldn't have been good for our testimony :)

umm, whoops...lol...I accidently added this one twice and don't know how to take it off :) I guess I just wanted to make sure you saw how far away we had to sit...

Me and the Sumster...obviously this was before the game started. By the end, we weren't smiling...It was 11:00 and we were ready to go home and go to sleep :)

Deanna was our big recruiter for the night...actually, they're lottery tickets.
We need to make sure her parents see this...j/k

Hey Everybody,
Here's an update from this past weekend. Sunday morning we were at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle in Jonesboro, GA. They had a fantastic service and we all got a blessing from the message preached by Bro. Joe Arthur our of Romans chapter 13.
Sunday night, we were at Forrest Hills Baptst Church in Stone Mountain, GA. The people of this church were so friendly and we felt so welcome. But the biggest blessing of the day came that night while we were singing "Blessed." While singing the verse that says "ears that can listen" we looked over at the deaf section and saw a woman wiping tears from her eyes. It was obvious that God was in the service! It was a huge reminder of how truly blessed we are! May we all remember to thank God daily for the many blessings He has given us. While we were at Forrest Hills we had the privilege of meeting a girl named Carie Cuneio who will be attending Champion this fall. We had a great time with she and her sister Casie, playing Phase 10 at their house. :)
Today we spent a few hours at Stone Mountain. It is a gorgeous day here in Georgia and we enjoyed just walking through the park and spending time in the sunshine :) Here are a few pics from our weekend...

Sunday night after church we girls got to judge a cake decorating contest. This was our #1 pick

While waiting for our Sunday afternoon lunch, I decided to draw a picture of the group :)

After church that night, we girls decided to take our shoes off because our feet were hurting and Kyle decided that he needed to take his shoes off too
