Our Adventures in Ripley :)

So, once again, where we're staying I haven't been able to pick up a wifi connection until now so that explains my delay in updating :) We're having a blast here in Ripley, West Virginia. Wednesday night we were with Ripley Baptist Temple and had an awesome service! In honor of the upcoming 4th of July holiday we decided to whip up a patriotic song, so before Bro. Tony's message we sang "Who Will Go To America?" The Lord worked it out to go right along with the message about standing up and being a witness in a dark world. Anway, the service was great, the people were so nice, and Pastor Perrine was so gracious to let us come and present the college.
Kind of going backward in time...lol...Tuesday we got to go see the New River Gorge Bridge. Its the second tallest in the world. Needless to say I was pretty much scared out of my mind. (I have a terrible fear of heights) :) But it was so much fun! We walked down a few trails, saw a few waterfalls, and Bro. Tony started a water fight.
Well, we hope that everyone has a great 4th of July tomorrow. We have plans to play with a few sparklers and hopefully see a fireworks show somewhere :) I'll let ya know how it went...

Hi :-)

Hey Ya'll!
Sorry, no pictures this time. My computer is being dumb...Anyway, here is an update from today. This morning were at Victory Hill Baptist Church in Dallas, North Carolina with Pastor Sandy Bozeman. We sang all during the Sunday school hour and, in the morning service, we opened up for Bro. Tony to preach. It was awesome! He brought a salvation message likening the brazen serpent in Numbers to Christ. While we were there we were able to meet a girl named Hannah Terres who will be attending Champion in the fall. She is so ready to get involved and we're excited about her coming! :)
Tonight we were in Durham, NC at Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Finley. Their church is amazing! We loved it! They blessed us so much with their gifts and kind words. It was a blessing to hear the message Bro. Finley brought from John 5. He reminded us that we need to constantly be looking for people that we can help; people we can point to Christ.
Tomorrow we'll be driving to Ripley, West Virginia. I'm sure we'll find something historic to stop and see along the way...lol...We like historic stuff. :-) I'll try to take lots of pics to make up for not having any today. Keep praying for us as we still have 5 more weeks of traveling left. I hope everyone has a phenominal week! :->
