It feels like it's been so long since I've been on here! This has been a long, busy week! :-)
Sunday morning we were at Ripley Tabernacle Baptist and Sunday night we were at Chilhowie Baptist. I don't really know what to say other than both services were AWESOME! God definitely showed up! There were tears, raised hands, and shouts of praise. We were all touched in some way by the message in song and the sermons that were brought. Thank the Lord for pastors who listen to the call of God, not worrying about what they want to say, but just being willing vessels used by Him to speak to others.
We had a great 4th of July weekend! We had a cookout, saw a parade, and had a birthday party. The fireworks got cancelled so we were pretty bummed but its ok because Sunday was Dustin's birthday and that night we played with sparklers and poppers. :-) Monday we drove to Bristol, VA where we met up with a fellow Championite, Justin Shaffer. Tuesday we all went exploring at Maggie's Valley in TN. We saw bears, deer, a snake, and lots and lots of trees! Oh, and we had a cookout. It was fun! Wednesday we drove to Pleasant Island Youth Camp in WV, where we stayed until today. We had a great week just getting to know teenagers from all over the area, and we got to hear some good preaching. (which is always great!)
Right now we are in Princeton, WV where we'll be staying the night. Tomorrow we'll be heading to Stoneville, NC and meeting up with our friend Jordan Tickle to sing in his church Sunday morning. Please continue to pray for our last 3 weeks of tour! Wow, it sure has gone by fast!...Here are quite a few pictures from the past week...
Thanks for keeping us updated on what you are all doing. Also for helping Dustin celebrate his birthday away from home. We enjoy reading about 1and seeing what you have been doing in your travels.
