Oh yeah! Another busy week! But it's been great! This weekend we got to see one of our good friends from school, Jordan Tickle. We went to his house on Saturday to hang out with his youth group and make home-made pizzas and it was a blast! On Sunday morning, we sang at Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Stoneville, North Carolina with Pastor Howard Owens. The service was great! We spent the Sunday school hour singing, giving testimonies, and Wesley brought a short sermon. After the main service was over, we made our way to Christiansburg, Virginia to be with Bro. Jerry Otey at the Gospel Light Baptist Church. We had a sweet service and great time of fellowship afterwards. Monday was the start of the Youth Conference at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, North Carolina. We have enjoyed some amazing preaching by Bro. Kurt Skelley and Bro. Steve Roberson and are looking forward to hearing from Bro. Kenny Baldwin and Bro. Greg Locke within the next few days! A lot of young people have stopped by the information table to grab brochures or fill out information cards and we have had the opportunity to talk to many students who are considering coming to Champion. - For Wednesday night's service, we traveled a short distance to Marion, North Carolina to be with Bro. Tony Shirley at New Manna Baptist Church. The service was incredible! The presence of the Lord was obvious during the first congregational song and we felt privileged to be able to be there to experience it! - Please pray for us as we travel a long distance on Friday after the close of the Youth Conference. We have to cover a lot of ground to reach our destination in Oklahoma for our Sunday morning meeting!
